A past student shares some memories and gives some advice to current students.

One rainy day in June in an attempt to help her younger colleague, Aňa, a past student from the Lyceum, is remembering a nice time at school.

“I miss the Lyceum, my professors and moving from class to class,” she said to me. She always loved English lessons, the prom full of music and fun and a janitor who was always in a “good” mood. Things she didn’t like were, for example, cold room # 9, standing in a corridor without benches, having no bell and having to take off her shoes every morning for 4 years.

And what does she think about former classmates? “I think we were a great class with lots of talented people.” Her classmate came up with the idea of The Student Council and they established the tradition of having St. Nicolas day in school.

“Because of English,” was the answer to the question about why she chose the Lyceum. She really liked it because it has a good reputation. She always likes a school with more advantages than disadvantages and, if she was given a choice once more, she would decide to study at the Lyceum again.

Tne year after graduation Aňa, now a student of psychology, gives this advice to us, the Lyceum students: “Enjoy your 5 years at the Lyceum and take benefit of what it offers to you. Work on your English and use it.”
