Professor Jana Matejovová is 35 years old. She was born in Martin but when she was 4 years old her family with her moved into Bratislava. She has 3 sisters. One older and one younger. She lives in Bratislava- Vrakuňa. She is married and she has 3 children: Samuel (10 years old), Natália (8 years old) and Nikolaj (6 years old). When she was a little girl she wanted to be a veterinarian because she loved horses and later she wanted to be an archeologist. But none of these dreams came true because she became a teacher.

She studied Slovak and English in the philosophical faculty in Bratislava. She thought that she will love these subjects and she hoped so because she loves languages. She already taught on Palisády but now she teaches on Evanjelical Lyceum on Vranovská. She teaches here mainly Straight Forward first classes in bilingual part of the school and also one fourth class in none bilingual part of the school. She has been teaching here already 3 years and she is very satisfied. She likes people here and people like her. She is very friendly and a favourite teacher. She said that students and other teachers are very friendly and nice. They will help her when she needs help. She said that also the management of the school is very considerate.

She became a teacher because she loves this work. She loves to have contact with other people and to teach them new things. She likes this work also because on the longer holiday she can spend more time with her small children.

Her favourite colour is blue, number is nine, animal is horse, season is spring and food is dumpling with meat and cabbage. When she was younger she played softball but for not very long time. Her favourite country is Slovakia and city, Bratislava because she loves the place where she lives. From the foreign states she likes Sweden. She was there just once but this state fascinated her. Most of her free time she spend with her family mostly with children and husband at home or somewhere in nature. When I asked her if she has some dreams her reply was: “No, I am satisfied with my life. Since I have children I haven´t got any dreams. I will be happy when my children will be healthy, happy and satisfied. This is my only wish.“
