The students of the Evanjelicke lyceum visited Vienna on 13th and 14th December, because they wanted to see Vienna in the winter. They visited the Natural-historical Museum and St. Stephen´s Cathedral. They got to the famous Christmas market.

The Christmas trip to Vienna is like a tradition in our school. This year wasn´t an exception. Most of the students went to Vienna, because their classmates went and they also wanted to feel Christmas in an Austrian way. Somebody wanted to take a rest from school even only for one day. J First of all, they visited the Natural-historical Museum. “It was a big historical building full of animals´ imitations or special scientific microscopes. We were allowed to use the microscopes so we could see even small cells,” said Janka Sebenova. Then they went sightseeing the historical centre of Vienna.  “I saw lots of beautiful monuments, which are so connected with Slovak history,” said Katka Salajova about what she saw in Vienna. They visited the very dominant St.Stephen´s Cathedral, too. At the end of this trip, they went to the famous Christmas market in Vienna. They could feel Christmas everywhere.

Most of the students didn´t like this trip, because of the cold weather and Vienna was overcrowded in these days. They spent most of their time in the museum instead of spending it at the Christmas market. “If I could go there again, I would go. Such things can be repeated every year, they are part of this holidays,” said Peta Slastanova.

The students, who were on this trip want to thank the school for its participation. I hope that this tradition will continue for ages.
